As they say, you’d never realize how hard a task is until you do it yourself. I never realized setting objectives for a teaching class was difficult until we made an Instructional Design guided by the modules. My frustrations were not in vain for I realized 7 things doing an Instructional Design reveal about you.
1. Your motivation why you teach
If you’re doing it just because you were required, the creative juices will not flow. They just won’t. I am determined that in the future, I’d always remind myself the noble purpose why I teach my client.
2. Your compassion for your students
Your objectives reflect your desire for your students to learn something of value to them.
3. Your mastery of the subject
You’ll get the hang of the content of what you’ll teach if you know a thing or two of the subject.
4. Your creativity
was witty that it’s called Instructional Design for it demands all your ingenuity.
5. How you value being relatable to students
The strategies, resources and evaluation methods you use reveal how well you know your clients and how much you make an effort to build a connection.
6. Your frustration level
It is not easy to master making an instructional design. You may encounter the writer’s block. Soon, we’ll be doing it a lot of times for our clients. Let’s work on that low threshold, shall we?
7. Your comprehension of the PT138 modules
You never know how much you understand something until you were evaluated accordingly. I never knew how much I didn’t understand about the module until this activity!
The sense of accomplishment finishing the Instructional Design was astounding! These things I got to realize about myself gave me excitement for what’s ahead! Thank you, Instructional Design!
